Tim is a hobby wargamer enthusiast. He has been wargaming since the age of seven when he started playing Avalon Hill’s Victory in the Pacific and Third Reich with his brother. In his teen years, he enjoyed hundreds of hours playing Squad Leader, Wooden Ships & Iron Men, Tactics II and other wargames. These days he loves getting on the game table anything from Marshal Enterprises' La Bataille series, MMP's Standard and Operational Combat Series (SCS and OCS), GMT's Next War series, Columbia Games' blocks of war, OSG's Library of Napoleonic Battles, Ted Racier's Dark Valley series, and Mark Simonitch's WW2 series with Stalingrad 42, Ukraine 43, Normandy 44, Holland 44. He’s also an avid computer wargamer and plays WarPlan, Flashpoint Campaigns, Strategic Command, Command Modern Operations, Order of Battle WW2, Fields of Glory 2, and the Decisive Campaigns series. He has an increasing interest in miniatures with games like Sails of Glory, Wings of Glory, Napoleonic wars and Warhammer. Tim raised his kids on Command & Conquer, Decipher's Star Wars CCG, Star War's Galactic Battlegrounds and still enjoys gaming with them when he can. When he's not wargaming, he enjoys playing Splendor, Settlers of Catan or Castles of Burgundy with his family or getting his butt kicked by his wife in a friendly round of Scrabble.
